Once you've settled in at Lions Cottage you may never want to leave ... but if you do, there's plenty to explore and something to keep everyone happy.

 

Made up of 4 delightful towns the Kiama area is a great place to explore whether you're here for a day, a week or decide to stay forever.

Take a scenic drive and explore Gerringong, Gerroa or Jamberoo while you're here. If you're keen to get in the water there's 10 beaches and 4 rock pools in the area to choose from. For the fishermen there's lots of options from the kid friendly harbour to the a licensed boat charter. For the golfers there's seven 18-hole courses of varying styles located close by. Or perhaps a day touring the local wineries or artists studios is more you style. For a family adventure you can't miss, check out Jamberoo Action Park. If you'd like to spend a day exploring nature there's the excellent coastal walking track, Minnamurra Rainforest or Killalea National Park. There's also a huge amount of events happening in the area - from local markets, sporting spectacles, garden show, annual community events, car shows, antique fairs, surfing competitions and more.

 

The Kiama Tourist Centre at Blow Hole Point is a great fist stop to find out what's on and get all the local knowledge to suit your interests during your stay.
